You may choose to write your life story as a personal journey to help you make more sense of your life. Telling your story can be an effective and therapeutic means of self-discovery and understanding. It can enable you to release old bonds, to make completions, and free yourself to move forward.
As you recall and write your life story, you will step back and tread once more in the same footsteps, but this time from a new perspective. The memories tucked away that still cause you some discomfort can be looked at afresh, and in the context of the bigger picture, seen with more understanding eyes. You have the opportunity to open your heart to healing and forgiveness, compassion and gratitude - to become a wiser person.
Making sense of your life, by making connections and seeing aspects of your behaviour from a broader view will enable you to recognize how you have developed.
The guidance notes in the starter pack will include suggestions to help trigger your thoughts, and I will also be available in my support role, as an impartial yet empathetic resource.
The written life journey is a wondrous one. It is so worthwhile and freeing. It can be fun and full of surprises too - but where and how to begin can feel like a daunting task, which is where I can make the difference, by guiding you through your journey and giving you the tools to help accomplish it.
