Your life story will start as an idea, something you know you would like to do, and I will help you to bring this to fruition. This is your own unique journey and the way you tell it will be unique. As you start to write, it will come alive and you can let your story reveal itself.
You can give your idea form through using my Life Storying Service. The unique service I offer gives information, practical guidance and ongoing support with the whole process of writing your life story. It will take you through practical steps all the way, from when you have booked your first session.
In the initial introduction we will discuss what you want to achieve and the practical guidance I can give you in writing your story. You will be given a concise starter pack of simple yet essential information to set you off on your written journey, helping you to become focused and confident. Good preparation and knowing you have a sound structure will give you clarity of purpose.
Having discussed the options and agreed on the one which suits you, you are ready to begin...
If you have chosen the chronological route, I will give you practical guidance notes for three modules: Childhood, Growing-up and Living Life. These will help you to consider some of the main points of each stage of your journey.
If you prefer to write your story as themes, the same support applies. The Life Storying service will be there for you when you need it.
If you have chosen to write a personal journey of discovery, I can help you make some sense of it all, by reflective suggestions in the guidance notes, to trigger off your thoughts. If you have chosen to write your story as a gift, a record for your family, I can offer practical advice and share ideas with you.
I offer impartial ongoing support throughout, so you have a constant person to share any concerns with and to help you along the way. The support can be via email, phone or by post. It is a flexible service to suit your needs.
